A Goblin raiding party led by three Hobs attacks a caravan of [Traders] but is intercepted by Beniar, Wiskeria, Durene and most of Laken's forces. Laken, now the sovereign lord of [[Windrest]], Tunslaven, Kiquel and the surrounding areas, watches the battle through his Emperor sight until their victory is assured.

Laken informs Prost that the counter-raid was successful and Prost suggests that rather that going out to meet the [Traders] at Trottvisk they should come to Riverfarm instead.

Laken walks through the village on his new throne - the [[Bismarck|Mossbear]], on his way to Prost. Prost feels positive that the team of [Tinkerers], including Tessia, will be able to build the trebuchets from the designs that Ryoka gave. Laken is pleased and expects the there will be [Engineers] once the [Tinkerers] reach levl 15.

Laken concludes his greeting with Rencil, one of the [Messengers] from the trade caravan with a message of a delegation from Trottvisk. Laken then requests Wiskeria to find more recruits as they will need to defend a larger area and she suggests that Laken wait on knighting more until there are a few promising recruits. Wiskeria suggests that Laken should appoint some [Lords] and [Ladies] to entice Gold-rank teams but Laken is out of titles.

Laken hears about Goblins attacking a distant village and burning it to the ground via [Message] sent to Wiskeria. Laken asks Jelov to make more markers.

Laken visits Jelov to work to work on the markers and notices the miniature totems that he's made. Jelov explains that they're trinkets that people are putting them in their rooms. The delegation from Trottvisk arrives.

Two more delegations arrive and the village of Batte asks for Laken's protection after the news about the Goblin attack spreads. Wiskeria proposes a plan in case the Goblins arrive and Laken sends messengers to his villages to prepare for it.

A city runner arrives with gifts for Laken. After confirming his identity the runner presents each of the gifts in turn. First healing potions and perfume from the Merchant's Guild, scented soaps from a merchant and goat's milk from Lady Rie. Thassius also delivers a verbal message from her which mentions the gifts as well as baby powder.

The trebuchet's arm breaks during testing.

Another town is attacked but they manage to fend off the goblins at heavy cost. Most of the attacks are coming from the mountain to the east that is rumored to have a Great Chieftain. Laken notices something moving along the north road at the edge of his vision.

A huge force of 26 Hobs a shaman and over 220 Goblins attacks Lady Rie Valerund's mansion after wiping out the nearby town. The Goblins surround the mansion as Rie asks Nesor if he has received a reply about reinforcements from Magnolia Reinhart. Help won't arrive for hours and Magnolia wasn't available. Geram hands Rie a dagger as a last resort but she replies that she has poison ready. Rie gives a speech to her soldiers as the Goblins break down the door but Nesor interrupts her with a [Message] from Emperor Laken.

Wiskeria leads an army consisting of Laken's forces and those of the nearby towns and villages, around 400 soldiers. She engages the Goblins sieging the Valerund mansion and Laken commands some of the Goblin's to kneel. Laken distracts the shaman allowing Beniar to kill them and the soldiers eventually beat back the Goblins. Rie and her soldiers emerge and she kneels before Laken. Laken levels.
