Erin has a small party to calm everyone down and teaches the Painted Soldiers dancing. Numbtongue gets a guitar. Twin Stripes is healed by Pawn. Belgrade's Killing Zone is completed. Apista tries Faery Flower nectar.

== Synopsis ==
Erin freezes everyone in the inn with her aura after threatening Apista not to sting her. Erin begins giving orders, first she has Lyonette go upstairs to keep Mrsha there, next she gets Drassi to give Badarrow a healing potion and then orders Ksmvr to put away his weapons and orders the three Antinium to sit on the ground at the threat of violence from the Halfseekers. Erin apologises to Badarrow but feels that they think she's lying when she says it won't happen again. She personally heals Badarrow's ear with the potion and tells them that Mrsha lost her tribe to Goblins. She then mentions Rags and emphasises that she believes that she sees the Goblins as people too. She has Ishkr give them food as she goes upstairs to confront Mrsha.

She goes to talk to Mrsha alone and Lyonette returns below. Erin explains that she should have had this discussion with her a long time ago. Erin tells her that hating Goblins is not wrong but hating all Goblins isn't right either. She goes on to teach Mrsha her important lesson: that people are not all the same. Erin tells Mrsha that she doesn't have to like the Goblins nor go near them, but she can't hurt them because they aren't the ones responsible for killing the Stone Spears Tribe. Erin tells Mrsha that she's giving the Goblins a chance, a first chance at least. She takes Mrsha by the hand and they go back downstairs - Erin leaves Mrsha with the Halfseekers.

Yellow Splatters sits remorsefully as Erin begins to give out food again. Ishkr asks her why she has the guitar and eventually asks if he can try playing it. Erin hands him her notes for some songs she remembered, but upon reading it Ishkr realises that it doesn't make any sense. Ishkr attempts to learn the song with Erin's unhelpful guidance. Lyonette decides to serve the Goblins ale to Drassi's protest.

Eventually Ishkr manages to play and Erin begins to sing, but feels off with the lack of drums. She hands an upturned bowl to Numbtongue and directs him to drum and manages to get the others into a clapping rhythm with some of them singing along with her. Yellow Splatters tries to ignore the music until he hears the sound of one of the soldiers stomping their feet in time and clapping their hands before the other soldiers join in. And as Erin starts teaching Yellow Splatters and the other Antinium how to dance he finds his anger gone.

Bird and Octavia join in. Meanwhile a patrol of Liscor's Guardsmen nearby overhear the music and reminisce about their other memories of the inn saying it's a shame the Goblins are there.

Erin says goodbye to the Antinium after the party with the rest of the guests in the inn relaxed. Numbtongue had taken the guitar and they had found out he could sing. Yellow Splatters realises that he'd been wrong, that Antinium needed to stare at the sky and that he had forgotten what had made him Individual int he first place. The soldiers report back to the barracks with their food from the inn for the others and Yellow Splatters decides to finally be the first to read the books Pawn had left. They were all picture books with stories. Eventually he realises that Pawn was watching him and that he had been reading for hours.

Yellow Splatters panics at having missed his duties but Pawn calms him down and has him follow him down the tunnels. Yellow Splatters sees the barricade of stone fully constructed and the lines of Workers armed with bows. Belgrade is explaining to Klbkch how they have set up the tunnels so that the monsters will fight amongst themselves before entering a killzone made of the archers. Belgrade reveals his level 20 skills and expects a reduction in casualties of 86%. Anand explains that without the help of the Painted Soldiers keeping hold of the entrances ahead it would not have been possible for them to construct this. Both Yellow Splatters and Purple Smile finally realise what was going on and Klbkch leaves to tell the Free Queen. Belgrade and Anand celebrate and hug each other but realise they don't get the same feeling that Erin described.

Pawn then knowingly explains that the three Workers didn't explain the plan to the Sergeants for fear of failure. He then leads the two to the chamber containing the Aberration Twin Stripes. Pawn uses [Benediction of Hope] to calm Twin Stripes and stops being an Aberration. Yellow Splatters helps up Twin Stripes and bows to him in apology before Purple Smile hugs them all.

Mrsha sits in her room happy with today's memories. She still hadn't forgiven the Goblins but she now was able to rest without thinking about the moment they came to kill her. And so Mrsha slept. And Apista consumed a bit of Faerie Flower nectar.
