== tl;dr ==
[[Pisces]] saves [[Selys]]. The two discover how to activate the [[Heartflame Breastplate]]'s enchantment. Selys decides to lease her armor to adventurers and meets with [[Jelaqua]] and the [[Halfseekers]] to discuss a deal.

== Synopsis ==
[[Selys Shivertail|Selys]] had a short dream of her uncle and was woken up by the thugs that had kidnapped her. They had a contract and wanted her to sign away her artifact. Selys was cooperative, but she got herself in trouble when she told the [Thugs] that she didn't know where the armor was being held. When things started to get violent, [[Pisces Jealnet|Pisces]] revealed himself and almost single-handedly managed to take down the [Thugs]. The two filed a report with Watch Captain [[Venim]] and then made it back to [[Liscor]]. After initial concern [[Ilvriss Gemscale|Ilvriss]] once again tried to buy the [[Heartflame Breastplate]] from Selys, so she tried to leave. [[Zevara Sunderscale|Zevara]] stopped her temporarily to set a guard on her. Once she made it home, Selys found Pisces in her kitchen who had brought her dinner that he had [[Erin Solstice|Erin]] make. After eating, getting a little drunk, and talking through the situation, the two decided to go actually see the breastplate. They spent hours trying to find a command word to activate the true powers of the armor and, despite failing, left happy and on good terms.

The following day, Selys had to deal with more of her fame whether that be inquiries from her usual friends, or the many representatives from drake cities and [[Wistram Academy|Wistram]] that wanted to buy the armor from Selys. Even testing codewords with Pisces was wearing thin. She got so angry at him for pushing her to be truthful that she hissed which turned out to be the command word they were looking for. Selys decided to wear her armor out in public and reveal that she had discovered the codeword. This alone increased the price, and the situation got better once Pisces got in contact with Pallass who said they would pay Selys just to ''not'' sell the armor to Ilvriss. Selys and Pisces though finally hit on their real solution which was to lease the armor not to cities, but to adventuring teams. She would get a share of the profits from whatever they made while they had the armor. This still left her open to more kidnapping and assassination, so she updated her will to state that in the event of her death the armor would go back to [[Magnolia Reinhart]], a circumstance that any drake or potential buyer would want to avoid.

Selys also went back to [[Tekshia Shivertail|Tekshia]] this time to assert that the [[Redfang Elite Warriors|Redfang warriors]] would be adventurers. This time, and what made Tekshia accept, she said she'd take responsibility for them. Besides that and settling the details of the armor's lease, Selys had one more job to do. She switched out [[Zel Shivertail|Zel]]'s ashes and then snuck out with Pisces in the middle of the night to put his ashes in [[Sserys]]' grave as Zel had requested in his will. This way he could be with his secret lover in death if not in life.
