[[Reiss]] attacks and besieges the [[Mountain City Tribe|Mountain City tribe]]. [[Garen Redfang|Garen]] leads attacks with his Redfangs. After some time, a stalemate is reached. The Mountain City Goblins are able to hold their positions in their tunnels. To counter this, Reiss begins to make use of his [[Undead|undead]]. [[Zombies]], [[Ghouls]], and small exploding undead Goblin children. These combined tactics force Tremborag to order his Goblins to retreat into the wider tunnels, where the wider space is more advantageous when fighting the undead.  
[[Goblin Lords|Goblin Lord]] [[Reiss]] attacks and besieges the [[Mountain City Tribe|Mountain City tribe]]. [[Garen Redfang|Garen]] makes sallies with his Redfangs, counterattacking. Upon encountering a stalemate, Reiss makes use of his undead.  


On the same day [[Rags]]’ city is besieged by [[Artillery#Trebuchet|trebuchets]]. She has [[Noears]] shoot lightning at the projectiles to buy her tribe time. She summons her [Tinkerers], [Builders], [Hammerers], [Armorers], and [Scavengers] and orders them to recreate the Humans' trebuchets. Once she has a working prototype flinging rocks at the Humans, she sends out Sir [[Kerrig Louis|Kerrig]] to convey the Goblins' request for peace. She tells Kerrig that her Tribe would simply leave, in exchange for a cease fire.  
On the same day [[Rags]]’ city is besieged by trebuchets. Her plan is to have her goblins observe and copy the trebuchets. Once she has a working prototype flinging rocks at the humans, still far short of them, she considers treating for peace. She sends out the still imprisoned Sir [[Kerrig Louis|Kerrig]] to convey this with her desire to leave with her tribe.  


Laken demands to speak with Kerrig personally and awaits the [Knight]'s arrival. [[Nesor]], the [Mage] responsible for relaying Laken's [Messages] to [General] [[Wiskeria]], is knocked out before Laken can speak to the [Knight]. He learns that someone has sent fake orders for his army to attack the Goblins at [[Lancrel]].
Laken, agog at the offer and demands transmitted to him, demands to speak with Kerrig personally. While he is still on horseback travelling, someone suborns Laken’s Mage and has him submit orders to attack the city.
