| Bird, happy to be back at the inn, sits in his makeshift tower with Mrsha and hunts birds. They go into the inn for a meal and sit down with Erin and Grimalkin. Grimalkin refuses to help Erin and the Horns of Hammerad with Wistram's bounty.

| In Liscor, the Wistram mages are doing business according to their specialties. Palt goes to the Wandering Inn to try and ingratiate himself with Erin and notices the faerie flowers. He tries to buy some but Erin refuses. Soon after, a gnoll steals some flowers and the Watch is called.

| Klblch leads two junior guards (one of them being a demoted Tkrn) on the trail of the thief. While in pursuit, the guardsmen meet a new and dangerous criminal gnoll called Bearclaw. They catch the thief and Tkrn takes the other junior guardsman on patrol afterwards, telling her what happened with Calruz.
